Basic Smelter Palia

Crafting a Basic Smelter in Palia is a crucial step in your journey towards becoming a master craftsman. It allows you to refine raw minerals and ores into their usable forms, such as Copper Bars, Stone Bricks, and Ceramic. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to craft a Basic Smelter:

Reach Mining Level 2:

Before you can craft a Basic Smelter, you’ll need to have a Mining level of at least 2. You can level up your Mining skill by breaking stone and ore deposits found around Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. Make sure to eat Food to keep your Focus bar topped up, as having a full Focus bar allows you to gain XP towards skills faster.

Gathering Materials:

  1. 40 Stone: Stone is a common resource found throughout Palia, especially in the grasslands and mountains. You can easily gather enough Stone by breaking rocks and small boulders.
  2. 6 Flint: Flint is another common resource found in various areas, particularly near water sources. You can gather Flint by breaking small rocks and pebbles.
  3. 3 Sernuk Hide: Sernuk Hide is obtained from Sernuks, the rabbit-like creatures that inhabit the forests and plains. You can hunt Sernuks with a weapon or use your bare hands to gather their hides.

Obtaining the Recipe:

  • Find Hodari: Hodari is a skilled craftsman located in Bahari Bay, the second main area in Palia. You can find his hut in the left corner of the settlement, near the beach.
  • Purchase the Recipe: Once you’ve found Hodari, speak to him and select the “Buy Recipes” option. You’ll find the “Recipe: Basic Smelter” for 100 Gold.

Crafting the Smelter:

  1. Open the Crafting Menu: Open your Crafting Menu by pressing the “C” key.
  2. Select the Basic Smelter Recipe: Scroll through the available recipes until you find the “Basic Smelter” recipe.

  4. Start Crafting: Once all the materials are added, click on the “Start Crafting” button.
  5. Wait for Completion: The crafting process will take a few seconds, and you’ll receive a notification once the Basic Smelter is finished.

Once the crafting is complete, you’ll have your very own Basic Smelter! Place it in your house or workshop and start refining those raw materials into valuable resources.
