- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Then Click on Formatting.
- Locate the Format On Paste Setting.
- Check or Uncheck: Controls whether the editor should automatically format the pasted content. A formatter must be available and the formatter should be able to format arange in a document.
