- Open PUBG Battlegrounds Main Screen: Start the game and wait for the main screen to load.
- Access Settings: Click on the settings icon located in the top right corner of the screen. This is typically represented by a gear icon and is often referred to as the System Menu.

- Go to Interface Settings: Inside the Gameplay settings, find and click on the ‘Interface’ option. This section contains settings related to the game’s user interface.
- Locate Color Blind Mode Setting: In the Interface settings, you will find the Color Blind Mode option. Here, you can select from several modes designed to assist players with color vision deficiencies.
- Change Color Blind Mode: You have several options to choose from:
- Normal: This is the default setting with standard color settings.
- Deuteranopia: Adjusts colors for players with difficulty distinguishing between red and green.
- Protanopia: Tailored for players who have a hard time distinguishing certain shades of red and green.
- Tritanopia: Designed for players who have difficulty distinguishing between blue and yellow.
- Apply Changes: After selecting your preferred option, click on ‘Apply’ to save the changes.
These settings are designed to make the game more accessible to players with color vision deficiencies, but they can also be used by any player to adjust the game’s visual experience to their preference. The Colorblind Mode changes not only the blood color but also the color of the UI, smoke, minimap markers, trajectory indicators, poison, incoming fire indicators, and the Red Zone.
