- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Locate the Sticky Tab Stops Setting.
- Check or uncheck: Emulate selection behavior of tab characters when using spaces for indentation. Selection will stick to tab stops.
