- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Locate the Stable Peek Setting.
- Check or uncheck: Keep peek editors open even when double-clicking their content or when hitting Escape.
