- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Locate the Semantic Highlighting Setting.
- Check or uncheck: Controls whether the semanticHighlighting is shown for the languages that support it.
