- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Then Click on Find.
- Locate the Seed Search String From Selection (Controls whether the search string in the Find Widget is seeded from the editor selection.) Setting and change it.
