- Open VS Code.
- Click on File.
- Then find Preferences -> settings.
- Click on the Text Editor in the left side menu.
- Locate the Ignore Horizontal Scrollbar In Content Height Setting.
- Check or uncheck: When set, the horizontal scrollbar will not increase the size of the editors content.
